In 1971, artist Claude Ponsot drew a series of Klein worms to accompany video artist Paul Louis Ryan’s article Cybernetic Guerilla Warfare. The essay reflected on network theory, cybernetics, and cultural agency—posing mobile video production of the 1970s as a tool for distributing information outside of the dominant broadcast methods of the day.
